We have had2 great weeks to explore this wonderful island. The small beach and
beautiful nightly sunsets within walking distance has been great. The condo has been a
great base for all of our adventures with the shower being great after a day in the
sun and surf!

Dear Jack, Dorinda, and Mark
My husband and I are concluding our week stay in your comfortable condo and want to say
"Mahalo". We traveled west to east, north to south, and enjoyed every direction! It's
been a short week but a lifetime of beautiful memories.
Thank you so much,
Roger and Dee Dee Ruby
P.S. My husband will add more to your website once we're home in West Virginia!

What a marvelous place to stay! No high use scene this! Prince Kuhio park
out our back door and the ocean view though a little means a lot of privacy
and pretty vistas. This is the most relaxing vacation ever for both of us.
It's our honeymoon and both 50+ so we know from beach resorts!!
The place is sweet, the gardens beautiful and the rainbow eueaclytus a wonderful
surprise! Remember that multicolor clay we played with in grade school? The
stuff we used to ball up in all the colors - the bark looks exactly like that!!
Location, location, location - quiet walk down to the garden and spouting horn
any time we pleased and coffee on the beach in the morning. Just a wos! I'd
recommend this #106 for sure!! :-)
Aloha!!

Can't tell you how great it is to be in paradise with the one you love!
You probably know. Arrived tired and hungry. Poipu Grill has great burgers
(and I don't usually eat food from a "window"). Check out Shipwreck Beach
close to Poipu with great ocean vistas. Mediterranian Cafe on the North Shore
was nice - good food - and views. Enjoyed Gaylords for Sunday brunch. Waimea
was stunning. We took the 7 hour NaPali trip with Holo Holo Charters. Would
recommend them. Saw whales and dolphins, snorkeling was not that great (best
by condo). If you go, take Bromamine even if you normally don't get sea sick.
It was rough! Many people got sick. It is incredibly beautiful. A once in a
life time experience.
Decided to do some horseback riding to see more of the "interior". Silver Falls
Stables were great. Spent one day going to various beaches on the North Shore.
Secret Beach, Lava Pools & Queen's Bath are all worth the short hike in. Also
loved Anini Beach, known as one of the safest beaches. Claudia is a scardy cat
of the ocean - and loved it. Coffee plantation was well worth the time. Could
go on and on. Guess we had a lot of fun and hat to leave. The breeze, the birds,
haven't slept this good in months.

Aloha,
Our first time on the island - we loved it! Rained the first 3 days then
the weather was wonderful! Our favorite outing was Captain Andy's Na Pali Snorkeling
Cruise. It is a fun ride with awesome scenery - but only if you enjoy "wave riding".
The snorkeling across the street and at Poipu Beach was good - great fish. The canyon
was great - glad we toured the island end to end. Sunset across the street were good
but alas - no green flash.

Aloha,
This is our 5th visit to Kauai The garden island and the best island. All of
this year we are celebrating our 45th anniversary and how better to start it
off with a months stay in Paradise. We have been all over the island and all
around the island and this south shore area continues to be our favorite.
Abundant beaches, spectacular whale watching, quaint little Old Koloa Town
and Spouting Horn. Seeing an occasional Monk Seal and a few sea turtles adds
to our enjoyment. We love the fantastic sunsets while sitting no the wall at
the Beach House just across the road. Watch for the "green flash". I witnessed
three on this stay!
We have eaten at several local restaurants but the best was across the road at
the Beach House. Make a reservation a few days in advance. Best pizza is at
the Brick Oven and never pass up Jo Jo's shave ice on your way to the Canyon.
We have enjoyed our time in #106. It has been even more than we had expected.
Thank you Jack & Dorinda.

P.S. We enjoyed a month of 82 degrees and summy while back home it stayed in the
single digits!

This is our first trip to Kauai and each island is different. We are enjoying
ourselves exploring the different parts of the island. We fortunately missed
the flooding. Timing is everything! :-)
We will be back for sure if I can talk the husband into it. It has been very
relaxing. Plan to do the ATV ride which will be one of the highlights of the
trip. The condo has worked out well.

We've had a relaxing week, in spite of the rain, winds and nightly storms.
Not quite the weather we'd hoped for. Loved the drives to Princeville and Waimea
Canyon. Kioki's is a wonderful restaurant - great atmosphere and live music
everyday but Saturday.

This was our first trip to Hawaii and well worth the wait. We
celebrated our 15th anniversary on the 9th at the Smith Luau. Great
time! We loved the condo. The chairs, towels, and beach matts were
fantastic!! The location is wonderful! I think we
did it all. We took in the North Shore including the Lighthouse and
Queen's Bath (incredible if you don't mind the hike).
We traveled all the way to the end of the canyon and saw the Na Pali
Coast. I am grateful we saw the coast because our sailing trip was
cancelled due to the 15' - 20' waves. Captain Andy's refunded our
money. We will go someday and book with them.
Highlights: Camp House Grill and Kauai Coffee Plantation. Both
unexpected delights. Beach House is beautiful but the food was
not as good as expected. Keoki's Paradise across from Poipu is
great. We saw tons of whales right across the street. We took
some pictures of them breeching out of the water.

Aloha and Happy New Year!
Our favorite island - our 3rd year. First time
staying in this area. Great snorkeling right across the
street. Loved the sunsets across the street too. Wonderful
walks to Spouting Horn and past Poipu Beach. Saw whales,
turtles and Monk seal on beach in Poipu.
Love breakfast at Tip Top, sandwiches at Brennickes, Roy's good
but pricey. Used grill here; chairs and cooler. Wonderful to
have lots of good meals in condo. A little more rain than we've
ever had. A few ants but they sprayed.
Hope to be back as we didn't have time to do everything we love
to do and see here. Beach House Rest on our last night by far
our favorite. Truly Paradise

Our favorite island and we have been to them all!
Great unit, kitchen really well supplied but how about
a small fan in the kitchen!
Enjoyed all the sports mentioned by other guests and visited the
Allerton Gardens with guide "Wendy" - The Best! What an incredible spot.
Hanapepe Cafe on Friday nites is the best. Bring your wine and for $5.00
corking fee you beat every other prince on Kauai. Food is great.
Appreciate all the beach equipment, especially the chairs, umbrella and
cooler. Thanks so much.

We have had to best time our 2nd time here together. 1995 was
our first. Things have really changed with more changes to come!
Went from one end to the other and like southend much better. Sunsets
are just beautiful along with sunrises. Got some really good pictures
of both.
Our daughter and son-in-law here also down in 102 so we had two rooms
to wander between. Had the best time in Tidepools at Hyatt Resort (best
Lava Flow).

This is our third trip to Kauai and the beauty of this island still takes
our breath away. We're here to celebrate a number of things - our
60th birthdays, our anniversary (13 yrs) and Mark being cancer free
for nearly 2 yrs. In 2005, the doctors gave us more reasons to plan
an funeral than to plan a vacation. He beat incredible odds and survived
stage IV gastric cancer. What a joy to see him surfing again...
Thank you for sharing a little piece of paradise thru the use of your
wonderful condo. God bless!

We came here to celebrae our 25th anniversary. The attractions
were nice, the island beautiful but my husband and I were so
blessed by the people we meet here - a couple that we met on the
plane and invited us into their home like family and some
vacationers like us who we meet on the local beaches - thats what
made this trip memorable to us!

This is our first visit to Kauai and we had a wonderful few days -
only "way" too few! It's our 35th anniversary trip and now we're
off to Honolulu to attend a wedding. What a wonderful, beautiful and
so relaxing time we have had. Enjoyed the beaches, the Beach House
Restaurant - but was especially fond of Casablanca Restaurant. We
hope to return again and with more time to stay. The condo was
very comfortable and a peaceful home away from home. Thank you for
sharing that with us.

This is our first trip to Kauai and have had a very relaxing
time. Wids were very blustery for a few days around Hurricane
force, but mostly dry.
In addition to snorkeling (left a boogie board for the next guests),
sunbathing, shopping, a boat ride along the NaPali Coast, and a tour
of the Allerton Garden (just up the street and well worth the time),
we spent many hours exploring the Garden Isle.
Everyone should eat at the Beach House and Keoki's Paradise (hey, our
motto is "it's only money" - IOM!) If you want to see turtles, Check
out PK across the street. Amazing!
The condo is great and mostly quiet. Really appreciated
the wireless access too.

Hello All!
We have had a fabulous time on this beautiful island. A week
was not nearly long enough! We highly recommend eating at the Beach House
(book really early in advance) and Dukes Canoe Club. Tunnels and
Hideaway beaches were amazing! Kauai guide book was right on about
everything.
Thaks again for sharing your condo with us!

Aloooooooha!
Andy and I came (or returned to Kauai) here to celebrate our
25th anniversary. Weather perfect. The breeze thru the condo
day and night make it comfortable. All the comforts of home
in a tropical setting. Have 2 gecko friends on patio that
never bother you but just go back and forth on railings. Rooster
"wake up" calls each morning are a "kick"! Keoki's Paradise a
definite. Try fresh fish Keoki Style. Stay away from Gaylords (rubber
fish and dry fries). Drive to Waimea Canyon gorgeous and nice day trip.
Gas at Costco $.17 cheaper than locals. Went to fruit market at
stadium. Better fruit and veggies (taste and price) than local stands
and markets. Beach House Restaurant (across the street) is a must.
Make reservations the first night you arrive because it is usually
a 5-7 day advance reservation needed. You won't regret it. Best
reservations at 6:30 sunset is spectacular! Take yur camera and have
waiter take pictures.
Overall quick 7 days. Great place. Definite place to return to.

Aloha!
Your condo is amazing. We are celebrating our 10 year anniversary
in Kauai and it is our 1st real vacation together other than Las
Vegas or camping. Rob found your wonderful place on the internet
and although I am always telling my teen age son to be very
skeptical about what or who is at the other side of the internet,
Rob truly found a most wonderful treasure in #106. The location -
the layout - the breeze that flows thru from the ocean. It is
beautiful and perfect as a retreat. We've had the most wonderful
time and appreciated this as our home base.
Rob is a great cook and we ate most meals in with him loving the
fish market and open fruit and veg markets. The tree tunnel - the
beaches, the island was so wonderful we are sad to be leaving today.
The book in the condo has a map to treasures found all the way
across the island and I think we found almost all of them. All
were breathtaking and a delight.
My favorite part of the trip was day 1 snorkeling - we saw and swam
with a Sea Turtle. Everything far exceeded our expectations. It
has been magical like a dream come true.

Like everyone else in this book, we have had a fabulous time out here!
This condo is in a great location, wonderful snorkeling at the (rocky)
beach across the street. We came out here to see a friend get married
and decided to come a week early and experience Kauai. I have already
convinced the guys tht took us on our catamaran tour to hire us so we
can stay! If only the logistics allowed! If you want to do a
catamaran tour, we highly recommend HoloHolo Charters. There are 2 tours
they offer, the 7 hour one that includes the Forbidden Island,
Niihau, or a 5 hour one of just the NaPali Coast. Much to my initial
dismay, Jason wanted to do the 7 hour tour that left at 6 AM! For
a serious night owl, that sounds like torture, but it was well worth it.
We snorkeled at Niihau and saw a Monk Seal. Great crew, great food & drinks,
wonderful information.
If you are a scuba diver, there are a ton of shops to choose from. We
tried Seasport divers (right around the corner) our first day. The
dives were pretty good, our guide was great about showing us things
down below, and a DVD is available to purchase since he takes a
video of the whole dive. Our next dive, we tried Bubbles Below which
is not run out of a shop, they just meet you at the doc and go! If
you prefer less "fluff" and prefer more of a "let's just go dive"
atmosphere, we thought they were the way to go. Linda, our dive guide,
is just madly in love with diving, marine life and just the ocean in
general. Her enthusiasm made for a very enjoyable dive!
We bought groceries once but ended up mostly eating out. I'm in
love with Shrimp Station in Waimea, Jason loves the Beach House
(probably because it is right across the street and beautiful!!).
Thanks so much for this wonderful condo! We had a blast, and
hope the rest of the guests here do too.

Aloha,
We had a wonderful time here celebrating our 20th anniversary. Off
to the Big Island today. Your condo is great, well equipped,
location, clean, and quiet. It would be nice if parking slots
were numbered/assigned. We pretty well toured the entire coast
line from the north park area and beach and southwest to the
Canyon. Great views and beaches.
We bought groceries at Big Save and fixed breakfast and sandwiches
for our daily trips. We ate at the Brick Oven Pizza. Very good.
Celebrated our anniversary at the Beach House Restaurant at sun down -
perfect!! Forget about Duane's Char Brol for burgers. Looking forward
to a return trip for sure.

We had a fabulous vacation celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary.
The condo is very nice - we noticed how quiet the bedroom is.
We appreciated the beach towels, cooler, beach chairs and kitchen
items. And Stereo!
Highlights of our trip were visiting the National Tropical Botanical
Garden, iking Kihili Ridge, hiking the beach from the Hyatt to the
Gillian House and beyond, snorkeling, golfing, and laying on the
beach reading books. We had sunny beautifuyl perfect weather the
entire time!

Awesome condo. I am ready to move here. Anyway, had a great time -
suggest going to a luau away from big hotels - too commercialized.
If it's bad weather here, drive up North.
Food was great and I agree (we) agree with whoever wrote do not eat

First of all my husband said be sure to mention how nice it
was to have a few things to use in the kitchen. He cooked a lovely
dinner one evening and it made it so much easier. And the location
is so perfect!!
We enjoyed Smiths' Luau. I had pictures of 2 Smith boys from 40

we talked with his mom and aunt too. A sweet experience.
So again thanks for all the comforts, it was such a pleasure to be

I found peoples suggestions in this book really helpful. We ate at the
Beach House twice. If you ust stroll on over about a half hour before
sunset you can get the best seat in the bar. Keokis Paradise and
Brenneckes were both good too. Shopping was great at the Hawaiian
Trading Post at the Spouting Horn and at Whalers General Store at the
Poipu Shopping Village.
Now some of our own discoveries! Our Island Helicopters tour was
fantastic, as was our boat trip up the Napali coast with Kauaifun Tours.
Captain Gregg splits his time between here and very interesting jobs
for the Discovery Channel. He loves to tell stories, so be sure to ask.
Unlike most of the bigger boats that go up the coast, Gress takes his
boat under waterfalls and into sea caves!
Also try Savage Shrimp - the truck is parked near the intersection of
Kawai & Poipu Roads.
I really enjoyed shopping for grat tropical clothing at the funky store
on the way East out of Waimea. Hilo Hatties in Lihue was not nearly
as good. We enjoyed many beaches, but the Beach House beach is the best.
We had great food at the Casa Blanca Bar & Grill and at the Plantation
Gardens Restaurant. (Check out the aloa, cactus and amazing orchids).
We ate between 5:30 and 6:00 everyday when it was less busy and much
quieter.
We loved the location here and the condo was very comfortable.

Well, this is exactly what we needed. It is truly paradise.
The condo was wonderful with great weather. We do believe

to Kauai. Going to dinner at the Beach House and then to "The Point"
to listen to a Surf Band. Sat off to the Big Island on business.

Helicopter tour with Harter was awesome, doors off is the way to go.
Sunset dinner cruise with Blue Dolphine we say turtles, seals, dolphins,
and the beautiful coast. Jim went golfing twice - loved Poipu Bay, best
golf ever. I went to the Hideaway spa for a day of pampering - will be
back soon! Left an umbrella and some mats. They came in handy at

going to be in hyour #307 at that point. First day was rainy and
overcast so we drove west to PoliHali Beach which was phenomenal.
Very hot. Bring a beach umbrella! (And plenty of drinks). Waimea Canyon
was magnificent. We stopped at the 14-15 mile marker and hiked the
Black Pipe Trail to the waterfall. The water was refreshingly cool.
It was about 2.5 hours hiking round trip. We loved it! Thanks for

Aloha,
Mahalo for having us back again!
We arrived today after spending 7 days in Princeville
at our timeshare. Beautiful weather here in Poipu.
Dinner Saturday night at Keoki's Paradise ~ food
pretty good - lava flows excellent ~ then on for a walk
and back to Keoki's for Hula Pie. Sunday a day at Baby
Beach - then I "Rhonda" got brave and decided to snorkel
so off to Snorkel Bob's for gear. My first time snorkeling
and had way to much fun. Tonight dinner at Roy's and
Monday night "Smith's Luau". We went down to the trading
post with hopes of again purchasing a Ni'ihau shell lei but
they close on Sundays - we'll try Monday. I believe these
to be authentically made in Ni'ihau, representing one of the
last truly Hawaiian art forms.

This has been our first visit to both the island and the Prince
Kuhio Resort. My mother and I came here on a mother - daughter
trip to visit some of our family (from Sacramento, CA) who was
also visiting Kauai but staying at the neighboring Lawai Beach
Resort. We both has a blast staying here and visiting the
beautiful island of Kauai. Some of the best restaurants that we
found and enjoyed were the Popup Tropical Burgers and More - a
great little cafe with great food, great atmosphere and even
greater prices and Keoki's Paradise - an awesome restaurant
with excellent food for affordable prices and great atmosphere,
perfect for couples!
There was one restaurant that we went to but left shortly due
to lack of menu items, sky high prices, and okay atmosphere -
The Poipu Beach Broiler. We unfortunately didn't have the change
to make it to the Beach House Restaurant because we didn't make our
reservations at least 3 days in advance!
As for attractions, the 4x4 Movie Tour was awesome! You visited so many
cool places from the Coco Palms Resort where "Blue Hawaii" was filmed to
interior mountains of Kauai where all 3 Jurassic Park movies and Indiana
Jones: Raiders of the Lost Arc were filmed. This attraction was a blast
but very bumpy (hence 4x4). Not for people who get car sick, have
back problems, or don't like bumpy movement. Other than that a
must-do! Another must-do is attending a luau. I would strongly
suggest the Sheraton Resort's Luau. This luau was fun, beautiful,
and the only luau on the beach! We had a great time there and the
food and entertainment was excellent.
Well, I hope this will help new arrivals to the island out a little
bit on places to go and eat. On behalf of my mother and I we would like
to thank you for allowing us to stay at your home while we visit this
beautiful island. We will most definitely be coming back to visit in the
future. Aloha and Mahalo!

Our second stay at this great condo. This place has been a
warm, dry and safe place of shelter for us during a time of
extreme weather. The flash flood warnings, a dam break, road
closures and of course torrential rains have reminded us of
the phenomenal power and mystique of the ocean and nature in
this beautiful tropical region. The spirit and soul of these
islands are entwined with a history of weather, of the ocean and
nature, which demands our respect. We have had quite an
experience in the last couple of days but have found ourselves
even more inspired and in love with the raw, powerful beauty
of this place. We ill definitely be back. Kaua'i has touched us.

always stayed in Princeville. This is a beautiful spot and
a comfortable condo. We enjoyed this location and the ease to
many spots on this side of the island. We had a stretch of
rainy weather but that didn't keep us from having a wonderful
time. The few good days made up for the rainy weather. Our
stay was enjoyable and relaxing.

Aloha -
This is our 3rd trip to Kauai. This is our favorite island.
We have had a wonderful time. We love your condo. It is
so nice and had everything we needed. The sunsets were
beautiful across the street. We love the beaches. We traveled the
entire island for the 3rd time as we never tire of its beauty.
Spend several days at the beaches - Salt Pond Beach was nice.
We also like the North Shore.

Aloha!
We came to Kauai for our 5 year anniversary and had a romantic
and fun-filled adventure.
We began our time on a practical note - we got a Safeway card
and stocked up at Safeway for a week of groceries - we saved
$30 just with the card. We appreciated the updated and
cook-friendly kitchen. We ate in for most meals but stopped
at the health food store in Hanalei for an organic salad bar
- yum! Also, in tghe same town we had a huge pile of rice,
chicken & pork for $8 at Hanalei Mixed Plate!!!
We snorkeled all over but really liked Poipu the best. We
began each day by jogging as the sun was rising for a few miles
along the beach.
We spent a day kayaking the Wailua River to the Secret Falls
where we had a picnic (pack a suit, water shoes and a windbreaker).
Definitely worth it - must! another exciting trip is to Queen's
Bath, even if the tide is coming in and it's raining you have to
hike down to it and watch the ocean crash against the rocks - fun
and scary (bring water shoes).
The condo was perfect - we'll be back for sure. Going to the
Beach House restaurant tomorrow - sounds like we won't be disappointed.
Thanks for the great accommodations!

What a fantastic island - truly the garden isle. We've really
enjoyed the snorkeling at the Beach House beach. So nice to have
it so close. I also enjoyed swimming at the condo pool. We've
toured the entire island during our week and have been so
impressed with its diverse beauty. The condo is equipped with
almost all the necessities - a dish washer luxury we would like.
It's been a fantastic time in Kauai.

Also our last night we had dinner reservation at the Beach House
at 6:15p - what a perfect sunset with the green flash at the end!
The meal was delicious - we loved it - perfect ending!

We had a great time relaxing, catching up on good conversation and
seeing the sights that make you stop breathing. Everything was
great. Thanks for providing this place for us.

Aloha Jack, Dorinda, & future guests,
This is a great condo! Had an excellent time and enjoyed all the
facilities/accommodations of this place. Kauai is the best island
of all Hawaii.
Came here with friends and family to see my daughter and son-in-law
get married on "Baby Beach" on Sat Jan 7th. Beautiful wedding. We
couldn't have asked for a better day.
Highly recommend the Beach House restaurant for good food and seeing
the sunset. Great snorkeling next to the restaurant. Saw several
whales breaching on a boat tour while cruising to the Napoli Coasty.
Best luau is at the Smith's family. Take a boat tour to see the Fern
Grotto. Gorgeous!!
Waimea Canyon is breath taking. The drive around the whole island
is magnificent. Highway 50 to 56. Be aware of afternoon traffic.
Check out Wailua and Opaeka Falls. Great shopping for souvenirs at the
Coconut Market Place near Wailua. Best beaches: Poipu, Salt Pond Beach,
Barking sands and Hanalei Bay.
Had a great time. Hate to leave. Will come back again. Thanks for
everything.
