Owner's Comments
Our Prince Kuhio #307 is a very nicely decorated, large 2-room studio.
It is much larger than most studios. It has a single room that is both
the living room and bedroom but they are visually seperate. The kitchen
is large and is a seperate room with all the amenities and a dining
table. It has 2 lanais that are large and private with breathtaking
ocean views! You are so close to the ocean you can hear it from the
condo at night! It is very cozy and romantic.

Wow! Condo was perfect - exceeded expectations. We came here to celebrate
husbands retirement. This is our favorite. We saw a lot of changes from
10 years ago, but your location, right next to the park, is quiet and ideal
(don't like all the planned expansion & building). Condo is adorable, so clean,
the privacy of the lanais is great. Our only disappointment - rough ocean
did not allow us to snorkel by Beach House - we were looking forward to that
- but a minor disappointment. And there was so much positive, it really
didn't matter. Tunnels was great, Poipu calmed down enough to see last
day - but there is so much to do on this island besides snorkeling. Very
thoughtful of you to have Kauai Revealed - I brought my own copy - it's
tops! Thanks again for sharing your lovely home!

This has been a wonderful visit. We have ventured from one side of the
island to the other. A little encounter with a sea urchin did not stop us
from taking advantage of the hiking, surfing, snorkeling, eating, and
laughing :-)
The Polynesian Cafe in Hanalei Village was fantastic gourmet food for a
great $. The snorkeling at Sea Lodge was amazing. The PK condo has served
as a great home away from home! Extra thanks to Peth and Mark for making
our stay worry free :-) We hate to leave but we hope to be back soon!

Had a wonderful time hiking Waimea Canyon, dinner at the Beach House,
and snorkeling. How about some pictures on the walls and a hair dryer?

Had a great time! Even enjoyed the rain and clouds as we've been
duped into living and surviving in a desert (Phoenix, AZ). Rented
a car and experienced the whole island.
Thanks,

We come here to relax and explore and mission accomplished. Enjoyed
the guava visitor centre, the lighthouse, Oki's Diner in Lihue,
walking to Spouting Horn and the crowing roosters. #307 was just
right for the 2 of us. First visit to Hawaii, hope to return.
Poipu Beach Broiler has best Mai Tai's on the island.

Despite heavy rains, we enjoyed or stay here. (Oregonians
understand that rain doesn't stop fun!)
Highlights:
- Prince Kuhio Commemorative Services Mar. 25 (Read about Prince K
Park in the Story of Koloa, top drawer of dresser).
- Grove Farm Homestead tour (make reservations - well worth $10
ticket for excellent explanations by guide & glimpse of beautiful
old home).
- Walking from Hyatt, through grounds on path westward (right as you
face ocean) - gorgeous cliff walk & turtle sightings.
- Walking quiet seaside roads to Sheraton & beyond - and the other
way to Kukui via Harbor & Spouting horn (& stroll through Botanical
garden across the road).
- Golf - Kukuiolono Course - $5.00 for 2 buckets & 1 club at driving
range, with fantastic view! Or play 9 or 18 holes $8.00 : Kalaheo,
5 mi W. of here.
Food:
- Take out at Sueoka market shack shop, Koloa (they also provide
take out at the table inside the store).
- Coffee - Starbucks at Sheraton snack bar near beach.
- Vietnamese Restaurant Pho Kauai - 4304 Rice St (Rice Shopping Center)
p.20, newer section of phone book. This shopping center had a couple
of other tiny local eateries that looked good.
- Shave ice at JoJos Waimea.
- Eleele, just east of Hanapepe has 2 good shops - Grinds for
coffee and No 1 for cheap good Chinese take out. There's a No 1 in
Lihue, on Kuhio Hwy also.
- Hanalei Plate Lunch (1 plate is ample for 2 people!)
In case of weather related emergency: Listen to KONG Radio -
93.5 FM or 720 AM. Ron Wilie will keep you informed.
Shopping:
- Hawaiian Trading Post, corner Hwy 50 & 530, Lawai. Good
prices on pearls, etc.
- Sunshine Farmer's market on Monday.

Thank you for the use of your condo property. We loved the solitude
of the pool and yet the nearness of shopping, beach & sites.
Weather was unusual but enjoyed sun & rain. You might check
ceiling for leak in bath. Thanks for the comfort & well
equipped kitchen.
We'll be back

This condo is a great location. It is well equipped, but could use
a lamp and chair in kitchen to create a reading space away from TV.
This island is quite beautiful - we loved the slow pace - no
freeways or speeding. We went everywhere a car can go, then the
cat to the Napali coast - many whales were sighted. The
restaurants nearby are excellent. Beach House & Plantation pretty
much the gold standards. Brenneckes also worth while. Breakfasts
a little bleak.
Don't miss a visit to the Princeville hotel and the drive to the end
of the north road. Shops at Cocoanut in Kapa'a are funky and worth
a stop. Many beaches to explore - we used Poipu beach most of the
time. Old Koloa town is very laid back with some decent pizza.
Just kept on moving with the sun.
Oh we also donated the beach chairs.
Best regards,

We loved our time in this beautiful tropical island paradise.
So light, airy & such great views. Truly a home away from home.
Thank you Jack, Dorinda & Mark for your graciousness. And for the
record - we LOVED our early morning rooster friends! Our Kauai
Napali catamaran tour was fabulous - as was the sunset last night
from the Beach House. We had a lot of rain - but not enough to
dampen our spirits - we just kept following the sun west!

Jack, Dorinda, and Mark,
Thank you so much... your condo, #307 has just been perfect for us.
We came with a group that stayed in your other units #106 & #211.
All of them beautiful & clean! Everyone had a wonderful time.
We came to Kauai for a wedding and Prince Kuhio was the perfect place
to stay... They were married up the street at Baby Beach and the
reception at the Beach House at sunset. We have explored every
inch of this island! The weather has been great, even when it rained!
It's hard to pack up and leave, because it feels so much like home...
We hope to return in the future! :)
