Owner's Comments
Prince Kuhio #315 is about 150 sq ft larger than the large 1-bedroom
condos and has 1 and a half baths and is very nicely decorated! It
has a beautiful ocean view from the bedroom and lanai and a great
garden view from the living room window.
In addition to a king size bed in the bedroom, this condo has a
sofa bed in the living room. Other amenities include a fully
equipped, large kitchen, stereo/cassette/CD player, cable TV/VCR,
and a ceiling fan in the living room.
The picture window in the living room overlooks the tropical
garden and the koi pond. The picture (above) was taken with
the front door open so you could see more of the garden. You
can hear the koi pond water fall from the living room. The
wooden loovers at the bottom of the window open and close!
The kitchen is a big bonus. Unlike all the other large 1 bedroom
condos, there is an extra room in this condo and it is used for
the kitchen. It is over 200 square feet large!
The bedroom is a very large room with a king size bed,
wall-to-wall windows, and sliding glass doors that open
onto the lanai (deck). Mark's view of the ocean is
breathtaking!

Our time here was spectacular! First time to Kauai - we will definaely be back. Condo
was great - loved the chairs. Our 10 days was packed full with memories:
Joe's on the Green for breakfast - close by and great food.
We snorkeled north and south beaches and by far the best was right across the street
next to the Beach House - make sure you catch a sunset there too.
Beach House was great for dinner - vry pricey but heck we're on vacation :-)
Flew to Oahu to see Pearl Harbor for a day round trip tix for two $250 worth every
cent.
kayak the Hanalei River - we rented our own kayaks - $35 all day! No guide - it was great -
packed a lunch - the river dumps you into Hanalei Bay - great snorkeling.
We did a 1/2 day fishing trip w/breakaways Charters - by far the best deal. We landed our
own 30 lb Mahi Mahi - brought it home and cooked it on the grill - delish! Capt Jeff
(808)635-9456.
Waimea Canyon - 4 mile hike - leads you to a waterfall. The waterfall was a bit underwhelming
but the hike was breath taking.
The condo was comfortable - delightful and airy - Mahalo!

We had a wonderful vaction. Really enjoyed the condo - very comfortable and good
location.
The beach across the street had the BEST snorkeling. Kayaking up the Wailua was a
highlight also cruise up the Napali coast was wonderful. Our favorite beach was Polihale
State Park.
We loved the island of Kauai and hope to return in the near future.

It was warm and beautiful the whole week. The only rain came the day we did our jungle
adventure at the Princeville Ranch. We had a great time anyway kayaking, hiking and
ziplining. Not bad for 58 and 60 year old grandparents. We also enjoyed the Smith
Luau and NaPali on a catamaran. The tradewinds disappeared for several days which made
sleeping too hot. This was our first time in Hawaii and I'm glad I chose Kauai. The
condo had everything we needed. Thank you! and Blessings!

Mahalo! What a wonderful trip! This was our second time to the island. However our
first time on the south side. The condo was nice and spacious. We loved falling
asleep to the sound of the crashing waves and blowing palms. High points of this trip
include:
Food. Beach House, Tidepools
Activities
snorkeling, surf lessons, Botanical Gardens, Sunset Sail (Capt Andy's .. lots of whales!)
Things to avoid. just the Poipu Beach Broiler. A tip for "newbies" to #315 - look in
the front closet of the condo! After we already rented chairs we found snorkel gear, a beach
umbrella, sunscreen ... all kinds of helpful "island gear".
Beautiful! Beautiful! We love this island!

What a great first visit to Kauai, so sad to leave. Hopefully we will
be back someday. Loved the peaceful view from the lanai, and the condo
was a great "home base" - very convenient location. Some recommendations:
-
Napali Boat tour with Liko Kauai Cruise. Tey were very thorough, professional,
and courteous. The boat is very comfortable too.
-
Queens Pond at Polihale Beach. It's bumpy ride to get there but well worth it.
Even with the high surf, the "pond" was perfectly calm and safe to swim in. And the
view of the cliffs was awesome.
-
Mahaulepu Beach. Another bumpy ride that pays off in the end. We saw a monk seal
there! Not a swimming beach though (at least not this time of year).
-
Kipu Falls kayak, hike and zipline tour with Outrigger Tours. Even though it poured
down just as we were eating our lunch, it was an action-packed day that left us feeling
tired and happy. We especially enjoyed the pig feeding portion of the day.
Will definitely visit again!

We had a great time. Shipwreck Beach was great. Snorkled Lauai
and Ke'e. What a great place. Our 10th wedding anniversary was
very special.

P.S. the hiking at Waimea Canhyon is awesome and the bouncing
dusty trip to the Mahaulepu beach is worth it!
This vaction was a memorable experience. We celebrated our
anniversary, a wedding and the birth of our 3rd grandson while
here. Wish we could stay longer but we'll be back!!

We've had a great time on the island. Enjoyed the beaches especially
Ke'e and a trip to NaPali. Also Waimea Canyon - the views were
wonderful.
We also found everything we needed in the condo and loved the view from
the balcony.

We hate to leave your beautiful island! Loved the whales,
Monk Seals, and Sea Turtle. Your condo was the perfect place
to stay - we enjoyed the fabrie panels on the walls :)
Hope to visit you again!

This was our first visit to this beautiful island. We experienced
some very strong trade winds on our first days here but things did
settle down. Winds were often a great relief to the hot sun. Loved
touring around the island Favorite Adventures:
- Kayak tour to the "secret Falls". First you Kayak then you hike ... then
you frolic - Beautiful!!
- Waimea Canyon - good hiking
- Great snorkeling right outside our door at Beachhouse Restaurant
- Beautiful Sunsets
- Crazy, Bumpy Ride to PoliHale Beach but worth the trip (last
20 minutes bumpy)
- Monk Seals & Sea Turtles basking in the sun on Po'ipu Beach
The Ultimate Kauai Guidebook was a great reference. Hope to come back
again!!

This is a great place. Where else could one find their own
local Monk Seal? Where else could one experience the beautiful
sunsets of the Beach House Restaurant without actually entering
the Beach House Restaurant? Where else could Ford lovers see
so many late model Mustang convertibles? (Actually, they are
every where!). This was like a home away from home.
