Owner's CommentsThe entire unit was completely remodeled in 2003, and features ceramic tile floors. The full kitchen has new maple cabinets, granite counters and brand new appliances. The living room has new furniture and drapes, and the bathroom, like the kitchen, has new maple cabinets and granite counters. There is a VCR and CD player. The phone has an answering machine. For your convenience, there is a laundry room located on the first floor. We have tried to provide everything you will need for your stay, from beach towels and boogie board, to garlic press and blender. In the evening take your favorite drink and stroll across the street to enjoy a beautiful sunset by the Beach House Restaurant, while watching the surfers catch that perfect wave. This Prince Kuhio Condominium has a great ocean view and surrounded by tropical gardens near Poipu Beach on the Island of Kauai, Hawaii. Whether you choose the beach, biking, hiking, rafting, golf, or the farmer's market, you will never tire of the island beauty, charm and friendly atmosphere. The beach across the street is home to some of Kauai's Green Turtles. It's not unusual to see the endangered Monk Seals sunning on a rock or dolphin swimming nearby. If you watch carefully, at the right time of year, you will even see a magnificent whale on its migrating route.
We welcome you to our little piece of paradise in the best kept secret of
Kauai. As you approach the complex from the airport you will pass
through the famous Koloa lined Tree Tunnel. Here you should begin to
feel your tensions pass and your spirits lift. It is next to the
Prince Kuhio Park, Hawaiian sacred land. Our unit overlooks the peaceful
and beautifully kept park which is the foreground to the view of both
the mountains and the ocean.

...the view was super and I absolutely loved going to sleep with the sound of the ocean and the warm gentle sea breeze blowing through the jalousies. In the morning we watched the sun rise out over the park...
